QuantCall AI FAQ

How the five-model consensus works, how to read the weighted factors, how to switch Claude to Fable 5, and what each plan includes.

The basics

What is QuantCall AI?

QuantCall AI runs any US-listed stock through five AI models at once (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok) and shows you each model's score, the weighted factors behind it, one combined consensus score, and exactly where the models agree and where they split.

Which AI models does QuantCall AI use?

Five: Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Perplexity and Grok (xAI). The free plan runs Claude, GPT and Gemini. Pro and Premium add Perplexity and Grok, so every analysis gets all five.

Is the data live, or from the models' training data?

Live. Every analysis pulls the current price and fresh web search results, and the models research the stock right then. To keep results consistent, an analysis of a ticker is reused for up to 12 hours, but only while the price stays within 2% of where it was. If the stock moves more than that, the old analysis is thrown out and a fresh one runs. The price you see is always live.

How long does an analysis take?

Free results usually come back in under 10 seconds. Paid analyses run all five models at the same time, so you wait for the slowest one. If the stock was analyzed recently, it loads almost instantly. The first analysis after a quiet stretch can take a little longer while our servers wake up.

Which stocks can I analyze?

Any US-listed ticker, like NVDA, AAPL, TSLA or MSFT. Type it in the search box on the home page and press Analyze.

Reading the results

How is the consensus score calculated?

Each model gives the stock a bull score from 0 to 100. QuantCall AI combines them into one consensus score, shown in the ring at the top. 50 is neutral, higher leans bullish and lower leans bearish. Your risk tolerance setting then nudges the score up or down based on how volatile the stock is.

What are weighted factors?

Tap any model pill under the ring (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Grok) and its panel opens with the specific things that drove that model's score: earnings, demand, valuation, regulation and so on. Each factor has a direction (strong bull to strong bear), a weight showing how much it moved the score, and a one-line reason. The weights for each model add up to 100%.

What does the risk tolerance setting do?

It re-weights the factors to match how you invest. Conservative gives bear-case factors more weight, Aggressive gives bull-case factors more weight, and Moderate uses each model's own weights. When you switch, the factors slide into their new order and small arrows show which ones gained or lost weight. It all happens in your browser, so it's instant and doesn't use an analysis.

What does "What the models agree on" show?

It groups the same driver across all the models, even when each one names it a little differently, and ranks them by total weight. Bull or Bear means every model that mentioned it leaned that way. Split means the models disagree. Tap a row to see each model's own reasoning for it. The bar at the top shows how the total weight divides between the bull case and the bear case.

Why do the models disagree?

They're trained differently, search the web differently and weigh risk differently. That's the point: one model has blind spots, and when five models split on a stock, that disagreement is useful information in itself. A split usually means the outcome hinges on something genuinely uncertain.

How do I switch Claude from Haiku 5.5 to Fable 5?
  1. Run an analysis on any ticker.
  2. Tap the Claude pill under the consensus ring to open Claude's panel.
  3. At the top of the panel, tap the gold HAIKU 5.5 ⇄ button.
  4. Choose Fable 5 and confirm. Claude re-runs the analysis with Fable 5, and the pill turns gold with an F5 badge.

Fable 5 is Anthropic's most powerful reasoning model. It's included on Premium with 25 runs a month (Pro shows it as a Premium upgrade). Switching back to Haiku 5.5 works the same way.

What is X Sentiment?

An extra check, powered by Grok, on how retail traders on X are positioned on a stock right now. Run it from the X Sentiment card below the main results. Free accounts get 1 check a month, Pro gets 10 and Premium gets 40.

Is there a colorblind mode?

Yes. Sign in, tap the blue profile circle in the top right, and turn on Colorblind mode. Bullish green becomes blue, bearish red becomes orange, and neutral yellow becomes gray, across the score ring, the model pills and every factor. It's saved on that device, so it stays on until you turn it off.

Can I save an analysis?

Yes. Tap Save to Watchlist next to the ticker. Saved analyses open instantly from the Watchlist. If you just click away from an analysis, the Back to button on the home screen brings your last one back for 12 hours, no saving needed. Free saves 2, Pro saves 10, and Premium has no limit.
